The title says it all. I'm gonna take a long break from studying and drawing right now. I am enjoying myself by playing Persona 4 Golden so it's gonna be really long hours of gameplay much like Yakuza 0. That means there's not gonna be a request this month. It's CLOSED. I cannot guarantee when I'm gonna be back. I can only tell you that much. Goodbye.

Hello, kyodais. I can't start a year 2021 without a proper new year greetings to you guys so happy new year despite I am a bit late but that's okay. So, new year, which means I am going to mainly talk about my very own New Year's Resolution and some other subjects related to other particular things. So pay attention very closely because this is long and I'm not going to repeat myself.

1. PROJECTS. Yes. I have my own projects but that doesn't mean they all need to be finished. I'm just doing these projects for fun or when I have no ideas on what to draw next. Currently, I have 3 titled projects. a) Sunset Case (formerly known as Shenanigans Domain, why the title change would be explained on the next subject), b) Portland's Finest and c) Nikola Belkova. These 3 projects are my precious treasures and I am looking forward to fill them with multiple stories, settings and especially characters.
2. TITLE CHANGE. Shenanigans Domain is now officially called SUNSET CASE. Why? Because I can understand most of you guys don't seem to relate or connect the title of the project to the main story because I wanted Sunset Case to be more like a crime action comedy genre. I'm not being biased or maybe I am but it's just that I can't help it but feel that the story and the characters of Sunset Case is very interesting compared to Nikola Belkova and Portland's Finest.
3. TWITTER? Well, I decided I should re-active my twitter account back but I'm not going to waste my time uploading every single art that I made last year unless it's on special terms such as Throwback or Flashback. I'm looking forward to upload just like I did in Newgrounds so if you guys wanted to be my followers on Twitter, please go to this link or it's in my profile page.
4. PINUP/WAIFU OF THE MONTH. Last year and the year before last year, I didn't get much attention when it comes to arts on Newgrounds. It's because I've been very busy lately with university's work and so on. So I discovered something very interesting regarding the art community on Newgrounds. It is Pinup or Waifu Of The Month. So I figured why not do it for the sake of the community and my fellow kyodais on Newgrounds. That's a perfect idea!
5. COVID-19 & VACCINE. Regarding Covid-19, it is a very critical virus so hope you guys stay safe at home and stay healthy. Don't give up just yet. Regarding vaccine. I understand most of us here would really wanted to get vaccinated so bad. However, there's been numerous people around us are instantly having allergic reactions to the vaccines. I don't know much about medical sciences but it's best that we need to open our eyes very widely and be cautious to the media. All I'm saying is that we all looking forward to live our lives the best way we possibly can.
6. CONSIDERING A NEW NICKNAME? What do you guys think? Should I stay with PurplePearl or I should change it? Who knows?
7. OTHER MISC. CHANGES. More of these changes are going to be explained a bit detailed as I am going through the arts that I make. For example, a slight name change to the main protagonists of Sunset Case, Brad Lee. More can be explained later in a future.
8. DISCOVERING NEW THINGS. Last but not least, this is probably my most favorite part. I loved to discover new things and hopefully continue to pursue them. For example, hobbies, video games, YouTube videos and more.
9. LESS REGRETS, PROMISES & SWEARING. I try not to cuss so much because it's getting pretty annoying although I can't guarantee it will happen again at some point.

Yello guys! How are you guys doing? I'm doing great. Well, I wanted to make this one short and brief but I don't know. I can take longer whatever I want. I just wanted to say this on behalf of my fans on Newgrounds, I wanted to wish you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Yeah I know it's still early but why not. Couldn't hurt, right? Okay, now I wanted to get down to the real business here and it's not about my New Year's Resolution.

1) Let's face it. 2020 has been a tough year for all of us here. So many ups and downs, so many obstacles and challenges but despite all of these circumstances surrounding us especially the pandemic, I hope all of you are stay healthy and stay safe as always. Yeah sad, travelling really do sucks this year. That's why we must do our best to maintain a healthy relationship and spend some valuable time by playing hobbies or family time during the quarantine which brings me to my next topic.

2) During this pandemic, I have spend so much time playing video games as well as doing artworks. Not only did I do those things but I also explore and discover some new things which expands my horizon of interest during quarantine. For example, I have a lot of games on my Steam library and I learn various tutorials regarding art which helps me to improve my art more. I'm also already got a new drawing tablet which is very comfortable and I am very satisfied with it.

3) Couple of months ago, I set a milestone up to 101 fans on Newgrounds by this year. So, once again congratulations on reaching more than I expected. Kudos for reaching 126 FANS on my Newgrounds art page. Thank you very much, guys! Thank you! Arigato gozaimasu!

And that is all I can say about 2020. Oh! Before I close my diary here, I wanted to share you my Art Vs Artist 2020 which I recently made. I made this one to summarize all of the arts that I made here in 2020. I rarely do art challenges but this challenge is pretty fun and we're almost just around the corner of the year 2021. This challenge is the same as Face Your Art challenge but with a bit of twist. That is my face reveal. So without further ado, here comes the Art Vs Artist 2020 challenge with my face reveal.

The title says it all. I am finally awake. After seeing all those YouTube videos and even searching on Google, I am finally understand and embraces the realization of my art. From now on, I am going to start a new approach.

I am going to change or improve my ART STYLE because let's be honest here, you guys don't seem to like my art styles don't you? Well me too because looking back at all those art styles that I made for the past 2 years, they seem quite... bland like there's no... life, expressions, music, entertainment and themes in it. Art style is pretty much common topic that most people argue about in the art community.

I'm not going to touch on too much detail about art style so the reason why I really wanted to do so is not only because for the sake of improving or developing it but also because I wanted to try something different as well as to expand the creativity and vast range of art ideas. Some of the tips from the videos and multiple sources from the internet helps me paying attention to it. The only thing to do now is to try doing it and see if it works out.

Now let's get back to the real business here. So, currently I am working on a comic here (NSFW of course) which is still work in progress but not to worry. It will released sooner. Because of that, I would liked to do something that I never really done before. It's called "Face Your Art" challenge. In the past couple of months, I've done Sailor Moon Redraw challenge as well as Six Fanarts challenge but I've never really done "Face Your Art" challenge before. I've done 2 versions. The SFW and NSFW. Most of my arts here that I've done is pretty much my 3 years of collection so this is basically my nostalgic trip.
